The business is a wholly owned subsidiary of a major international energy company and has the financial backing and support to grow at an incredible scale over the next several years. We are currently looking for a (Sr.) Development Engineer to join their Development Engineering team and be responsible for engineering, developing, and designing utility-scale projects for the business. You will have the opportunity to work outside of your scope with third-party vendors and expand your skill sets as both an engineer and a project manager.
Required Experience
- Ideally looking for someone with 3-5+ years experience working in renewable energy, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or electrical engineering.
- A degree in either civil or electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- It would be great if this person had experience working at an EPC, IPP, or consultancy in any of the following markets: NY-ISO, ERCOT, MISO, ISO-NE, or PJM.
- Someone who is not just looking for a purely engineering position. You will also have project manager responsibilities with a focus on working with external parties.
- Someone who is passionate about the renewables industry and wants to grow within a business.
