What You Will Do

As the Retail Activation Coordinator, you will drive sales growth and manage store-level relationships, merchandising, and product placement. Reporting to the founder, you will support trade shows, manage accounts, open new opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams. This role is hands-on and requires a strong field presence.
Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales velocity in the Mid-Atlantic region (VA, DC, PA, S NJ) and along the East Coast, with a focus on key retailers such as Whole Foods Market, Wegmans, independents, and Kroger
  • Manage relationships at the store level and travel frequently to build and maintain relationships
  • Oversee merchandising and ensure effective product placement
  • Plan and execute retail promotions and campaigns
  • Support trade show appearances
  • Manage existing accounts and open new opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to utilize marketing materials and track KPIs
  • Conduct product demos and maintain a strong field presence
Who You Are

You are highly organized and capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. Your enthusiasm and passion for the CPG industry drive your work. You thrive in a collaborative environment and excel in communication. You contribute sales experience and your go-getter attitude, and are a proactive team player committed to delivering results.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years in a sales or sales support role within the CPG industry, preferably food-related.
  • Passion for the better-for-you space is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter, organized, positive, detail-oriented; passion for relationships and community-building.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, problem-solver.
  • Location: Based in the Mid-Atlantic region. Must have a reliable vehicle with willingness to travel extensively (~75%).
  • Familiarity with distributors and major retail accounts like Whole Foods and Wegmans is preferred.
