The position: The Property Accounting Associate-Support contributes to the success of the organization through management of administrative tasks that support the account receivable and accounts payable processes within the Central Services department.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for providing support to an assigned portfolio of properties across a variety of AP, AR, and administrative tasks.
- Leverages a customer support ticketing system to resolve internal and external support inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring a high-level of customer satisfaction.
- Assists with monitoring and processing vendor refunds to all different entities we manage.
- In Charge of reversing or reapplying resident receipts in our Yardi platform as needed.
- Decisions the acceptance or rejection of resident payments in ClickPay queue based on company guidelines and criteria.
- Mails back or deposits resident payment items received from ClickPay and other miscellaneous payments.
- Corresponds with internal teams to resolve customer/vendor challenges and proactively identify opportunities to advance systems and processes.
- Assists in developing analytics to track and monitor performance.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property management and/or AP and AR
- Experience with Yardi preferred, with OneSite/RealPage a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
Work Environment:
- This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week.
- The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and possessing a valid drivers license.
