* Duties include inspection, diagnoses, repair, and replacement of general parts and accessories for cars and light trucks

* Perform fluid exchanges, general inspections and maintenance, brake inspection, battery, and electronics work

**Job Requirements:**

* Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers problems and provide accurate repair recommendations

* Perform all aspects of automotive maintenance and repair. Tasks including computer diagnostic procedures, engine repair, cooling system repair, emissions system repair

* Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair by attending schooling and seminars

* Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives

* Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records

* Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

Drives trucks and trailers, tractors and semi-trailers, stake trucks and closed body type trucks to make deliveries and pickups of all types of materials, parts, assemblies and equipment to and from vendors, depots and freight terminals; hauls completed aircraft assemblies as required.

**Essential Functions:** The following description has been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. Loads, lifts, positions, secures and unloads completed aircraft parts, assemblies, equipment and materials in such a manner as to prevent damage and loss.

Handles such paperwork as manifests, shipping and purchase orders, and log books; reconciles load against shipping lists, pickup and delivery orders.

Hooks up air hoses and safety chains; checks equipment such as tires, lights, loading and unloading equipment, brakes, gas, water and oil supplies.

Must possess licenses and certificates as required by law.
