Join us in shaping the future of naval warfare and together, we will safeguard the seas and empower navies worldwide Job Description The Ultra Finance function leads the budgeting and forecasting processes and supports the strategy process, as well as managing performance against budget. It ensures that effective financial controls are in operation in all businesses to ensure stewardship of the Group's assets. It ensures compliance with best professional standards, statutory financial requirements and fiscal provision and undertakes tax planning activities and ensures that the Group's tax reporting duties are discharged. It ensures that the Group has adequate long-term funding to meet the requirements of its Strategic Plan and supports M&A. Nationality Requirements Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers. What you need to succeed in this position: Minimum of 3 years prior FP&A experience with in-depth knowledge of all 3 financial statements and how they relate Prior government contracting and/or manufacturing experience A demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive solutions Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment with multiple competing high-priority deadlines Prior PE experience is a plus Diverse & Inclusive Employer Ultra Maritime is an equal opportunities employer that values diversity, inclusion, equity, and equality.
