Field Support Electrical Engineer will work directly with Technical Support product manager, engineering, manufacturing, and service groups within Mi-Jack Global Product Support. Your primary focus will be to support high level troubleshooting / problem solving, interfacing with all field services and end-users for ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction. You will provide technical full-service support for both software and hardware for field troubleshooting for high level issues that arise on electric or hybrid equipment.Essential Functions:•Troubleshoot Field Issues on Electric or Hybrid Equipment working with product support group and service technicians.•Create high level Troubleshooting Guides, Techniques / SOPs and other Support Documentation for all Electric and Hybrid Equipment.•Direct communications with engineering for compliance and assistance for high level issues requiring assistance.•Attend and participate in engineering design reviews including R&D projects and/or any related quoted jobs for both internal and external customers. •Participate in code reviews, identify and address technical debt, and understand coding standards and best practices. •Gather, track, and analyze process control data to drive product improvement.•Provide technical direction and recommendation based on industry best practices and your experience.•Uses CAD software and other design and modeling tools •Conducts analysis and tests to determine weaknesses and failures in products. Ingress / egress of off-road machine cabs is required.
