Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including:
    • Accounts payable and receivable
    • Payroll
    • Expense management
    • Financial reporting
    • Revenue recognition
    • Monthly submissions to parent company Roper Technologies
    • Close cycle including reconciliations
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
  • Oversee the work of the accounting team
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations
  • Work with the VP of Finance to develop and implement the company's financial strategy
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations
  • Ensure that the company is in compliance with all accounting rules and controls
  • Oversee the development of the team
  • Working across the organization to add value
  • Running audit engagements (Internal and External Audit)
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
  • A robust cross functional partner to the People team to advocate for driving employee engagement initiatives and optimizing performance processes geared towards cultivating high-performing teams
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting, with mix of public accounting and industry experience
  • Strong understanding of SaaS accounting principles
  • Proven track record of process improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as NetSuite/FCC/HFM
  • Analytical problem solver
