Responsibilities:

* Understand and support global communications strategy that spans our diverse international footprint and workforce.

* Be able to think strategically, understand the complex Belden strategy, make recommendations to the HR business leaders on appropriate communication tactics, and ensure messaging is consistent across the organization.

* Support implementation of tactics and measurement of success for a variety of HR initiatives and communication objectives.

* Write and edit communications and assist in executing campaigns for various teams such as total rewards, employee experience, talent development, DE&I and more.

* Work globally to execute a monthly newsletter with celebrations and updates on HR campaigns.

* Create excitement and build Belden's employee experience through communications.

* Summarize and write powerful key messaging that inspires action.

* Utilize Salesforce for internal email communications.

* Coordinate between social media and marketing as needed for consistent messaging internally and externally.

* Create and update HR SharePoint pages on global intranet site for employee use.

* Follow Belden's brand identity guide when developing print and web-based internal communications and presentations.

Required Skills and Experience

* 3-5 or more years of corporate communications experience, preferably for a global publicly traded company

* Bachelor's degree in a field such as communications, journalism, public relations or a related field

* Strong business writing skills (provide samples upon request)

* Ability to build relationships and influence while supporting the HR leadership team needs

* Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism

* Ability to think strategically as well as operate at a tactical level

* Solid business and communications acumen, creativity and analytical skills

* Strong project management skills, comfort with ambiguity and excitement for fast-paced atmosphere

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to meet tight deadlines when needed

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects and campaigns simultaneously while meeting all published timelines

* Rare business travel required
