Role The Revit API Software Engineer will possess a strong knowledge of the Autodesk Revit API and will be responsible for developing against that stack. They will be working on building new engineering automation applications and modifying existing applications in our extensive library. The Revit API Software Engineer will work directly with product owners and other engineers at IMEG on various projects. IMEG is growing, and we would love to have you join our team We are currently seeking a Revit API Software Engineer. The Revit API Software Engineer will possess a strong knowledge of the Autodesk Revit API and will be responsible for developing against that stack. They will be working on building new engineering automation applications and modifying existing applications in our extensive library. The Revit API Software Engineer will work directly with product owners and other engineers at IMEG on various projects. Principal Responsibilities Assist the Development Manager with all aspects of software design and coding Contribute to and maintain IMEG's proprietary 'RAPIL' (Revit API Layer) codebase Attend and contribute to company development meetings Learn the codebase and consistently show improvement in coding skills Write and maintain code Address minor bug fixes Monitor the technical performance of internal systems Respond to requests from the development team Gather information from consumers about program functionality Assist with documentation Conduct development tests Write unit tests Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities Proficiency in Autodesk Revit API, C#, and WPF Framework Knowledge of databases and operating systems Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives Exceptional written and oral communication skills Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills Detail-oriented Knowledge of basic coding languages including C#, HTML5, and JavaScript Basic programming Proficiency in Jira & Git & Blazor preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS preferred Equivalent of work experience in a related field required 5+ years of Revit API experience in a professional software team environment This position is not eligible for sponsorship Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000/year. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
