About the Role

As a key member of AESC US LLC, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to lead in full-value-chain battery solutions for a sustainable future. The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for executing transactional activities related to production planning and control, material procurement, inventory control, inbound and outbound logistics, etc. This role will perform root-cause analysis and provide countermeasures for continuous improvement, lead projects from start to finish as assigned. Your work within the Supply Chain team will directly impact our strategic goals and contribute to our position as a global leader in battery technology.

What You Will Do

  • Participates in critical material supplier production capacity analysis, forecasting, ordering, and inventory control.
  • Executes the gathering and analysis of supply chain data.
  • Interfaces with related departments to solve purchasing, technical, accounting, and shipping issues.
  • Investigates and resolves issues associated with suppliers regarding labeling, packaging, receiving, quality, invoicing, and transportation.
  • Collaborates with the FTZ (Foreign-Trade Zone) consultant and third-party logistics company to ensure the timely and accurate completion of FTZ activities.
  • Maintains proper recordkeeping required for management of the FTZ in compliance with Regulatory Laws and the Department of Commerce, operates FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping system, interacts with Customs & Border Protection and participating government agencies (PGA), as necessary, routinely updates and reports to direct management concerning activities related to the FTZ.
  • Audits and validates inventory transactions, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Contributes to the establishment and tracking of financial budgets.
  • Suggests process improvements to reduce costs and improve competitive advantages.
  • Maintains a friendly and professional relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in a professional business atmosphere
  • Understands statistical analysis, parts forecasting methodologies, and associated system software
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of principles, concepts, practices and standards related to supply and logistics system information management
  • Experience analyzing supply chain data and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Experience working in and maintaining databases using Microsoft Excel and others relevant to company processes
  • Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with vendors
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP or similar ERP
  • Understands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards
  • Understands and follows all standards of ISO14001 environmental standards
