Description The Night Auditor will conduct nightly audit?related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, daily paperwork, shift reports, guest check?in/check?out, reservations, and answering guest questions. Proactive thinking, keeping guest security in mind, and creating a safe, clean, friendly work environment. Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift. Checking the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc. Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests. Processing guest registrations, including collecting payment. Preparing express checkout folios. Maintaining room status inventory. Communicating all pertinent shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff. Maintaining and cleaning the lobby and bathrooms as needed. Communicating all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition. Working closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service. Answering inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment, travel directions, and explaining in?room and hotel features. Completing all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily. Performing other duties as assigned by management.
