Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

  • Processing attendance records and calculate wages, deductions, benefits, etc.
  • Validating payroll accuracy
  • Collaborating with HR to process new hires onboarding and termination offboarding within the HRIS
  • Generating reports to support audit processes and department managers' needs
Background Expected of the Payroll Specialist:
  • Undergraduate degree or experience equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a payroll position
    • Union/shift differential payroll experience preferred
  • Familiarity with a major HRIS
