Duties:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and screenings
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia as indicated
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Provide support in managing dental office operations, including scheduling appointments and managing medical records

-Instrument sterilization
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

- Intraoral health scans and photos

Skills:

-Prior use and/or certification with a diode laser is a plus

-Prior use of intraoral scanners is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and practices
- Proficient in using dental software systems (Dentrix and Weave) for documentation
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health practices
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record them appropriately
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
