Atrium Health Levine Childrens is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join a growing clinic in Shelby, NC. Shelby Childrens Clinic is the largest Pediatric practice of Levines Children western division. We currently have 9 physicians and 5 APPs in our Shelby location, as well as 3 physicians at our satellite office in Kings Mountain. Having been opened since 1955, Shelby Childrens Clinic is well established in our community and surrounding areas, providing the highest quality care. Our providers work closely with the School Based Virtual Team and offer Virtual Visits as an option to our families. We have access to specialist within the area as well as Charlotte to serve our patients who may require a referral. Shelby is nestled in the foothills only an hour away from Charlotte and Asheville. Our city offers a bustling and festive uptown with a wide array of dining, art and entertainment or everyone.
- Outpatient only
- Current office hours: Monday-Friday 8am -5pm, with rotating Saturday sick clinic from 8am-12:00pm.
- Rotate Saturday call every 19 weeks. Rotate weekly call every 12 weeks.
- Patient load average of 24 patients daily.
Charlotte Pediatrics is a part of Childrens Services which includes Levine Childrens Hospital, a nationally ranked hospital which has taken us to another level of service to care for the growing population of children in our region. Ranked as one of the top Childrens Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report in eight specialties for 2022-2023, it is the most comprehensive childrens hospital between Atlanta and Washington, DC, helping families stay closer to home. There are 12 floors with 234 patient beds, including a 20-bed PICU.
