Purpose
Masonite’s Treasury team is responsible for managing the Company’s financial assets in order to optimize returns and maximize flexibility. This includes insuring that the company has sufficient liquidity to meet short-term financial needs, as well as the ability to fund capital investments and make strategic acquisitions that are designed to grow the company longer term. We are also responsible for protecting and managing the financial risk associated with the company’s assets including interest rate risk, currency risk and ensuring tight controls exist to protect unauthorized access to the company’s funds. The Sr. Treasury Analyst is responsible for the ongoing planning, design, development, programming, testing, implementation, and support of all Treasury related systems. They play a critical role in the implementation of the Treasury Management System, including developing processes and conducting training for the US and international subsidiaries.
In addition, they handle other typical Treasury duties such as cash and bank account management, cash forecasting, debt compliance, intercompany financing, foreign exchange risk management, and special projects/analysis. This role has executive management exposure and offers the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge of global operations.
The ideal candidate should be a bright and eager professional able to demonstrate their ability to be a tenacious self-starter. A performance-driven dynamic individual who brings fun to the workplace while delving into special projects and taking ownership of rewarding, hands-on duties.
Responsibilities
Administers the Treasury Management System, including participation in system enhancements, upgrades, and new features.
Validates and maintains data, mapping rules, accounting rules, administrative configurations, user setup, and process flows within Treasury Systems.
Maintains and administers Treasury software
packages/applications
and third-party access portals, including user administration and support, data loading, and validation.
Monitor and analyze the Company's daily cash position to cover cash commitments and makes recommendations to coordinate/optimize cash placement.
Assist with Treasury projects as needed with the company's business units, including projects to setup new banking accounts, services, handle bank inquiries and update account signers.
Manages Treasury mailbox and responds to inquiries from internal stakeholders.
Research and process stop payments, ACH reversals, and ACH fraud filter exceptions.
Input payments for approval
Responsible for positive pay program
FBAR Reporting
Provides support in foreign exchange risk management
Analyzes data required to recommend business solutions
Ensures SOX compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years in experience in Treasury, Finance, Accounting, or Financial Systems Role required
Treasury or ERP system development and/or deployment experience preferred
Experience with FIS / Sungard Integrity preferred
General Accounting knowledge
Experience pulling data from ERP and Accounting systems
International banking and/or foreign exchange knowledge is a plus
Willingness to work on a range of Treasury items, from maintaining bank account signers to higher level projects
Cash flow forecasting experience
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Largely self-directed, able to seek out objectives and complete them with minimal management input
Must be a self-starter, flexible, and able to work on time sensitive projects without daily supervision
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Strong Excel spreadsheet and modeling skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy environment
Experience in corporate treasury/cash management preferred.
Advanced certifications and/or degrees a plus: CTP, CPA, CFA, ARM, CRM
