Montare Behavioral Health is currently hiring a Housekeeping Aid for Mental Health Treatment Center located in North Phoenix This is a Part Time position.Schedule: 20-30 hours a week.Summary: The Housekeeping Aid performs day-to-day housekeeping services ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and DHCS standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for day-to-day housekeeping duties including: dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.Identifies and reports any hazards or potential safety concerns. Adheres to facilities confidentiality policies & procedures.Maintain professional relationships with the staff, residents, families, and visitors.Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionMonitors Supply inventory and fills supplies requisition requests. Maintain knowledge of job functions within the organization. Maintain a consistent and open channel of communication with the Program Director and staff on duty. Performs any other duties as needed.Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patientsMust demonstrate dependable, regular attendanceMust be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgmentExperience and Skills:At least one year of residential cleaningExperience working in healthcare or a treatment center strongly preferredHiring Requirements:Hiring is contingent upon completion of a Background Check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.For the mental health program additional requirements include receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption and a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508).
