Montare Behavioral Health is currently hiring a Housekeeping Aid for Mental Health Treatment Center located in North Phoenix This is a Part Time position.

Schedule: 20-30 hours a week.


Summary: The Housekeeping Aid performs day-to-day housekeeping services ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and DHCS standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day housekeeping duties including: dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.
  • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
  • Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Identifies and reports any hazards or potential safety concerns.
  • Adheres to facilities confidentiality policies & procedures.
  • Maintain professional relationships with the staff, residents, families, and visitors.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Monitors Supply inventory and fills supplies requisition requests.
  • Maintain knowledge of job functions within the organization.
  • Maintain a consistent and open channel of communication with the Program Director and staff on duty. Performs any other duties as needed.
  • Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients
  • Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment

Experience and Skills:

  • At least one year of residential cleaning
  • Experience working in healthcare or a treatment center strongly preferred

Hiring Requirements:

  1. Hiring is contingent upon completion of a Background Check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
  2. For the mental health program additional requirements include receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption and a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508).
