Project Control Analyst

Trillium Construction is looking for a Project Controls Analyst in Augusta, GA. The Project Controls Analyst should have 5+ years' experience creating, tracking, and recording Construction Cost Plans and Analysis. Pay is DOE starting at $80,000 per year. Per diem is available for qualified travelers and is paid on a weekly basis. Job Duties: -Create, document, monitor and communicate project costs in correlation to milestones and risk. -Participate in project status meetings, collect progress data and revise project plan as needed. -Create, maintain, and update monthly forecast budgets. -Prepare various cost reports and maintain forecast accuracy. -Prepare project performance analysis, cost, and schedule status reports. -Ensure responses to budget and cost requests reflect correct project cost information. -Input data into various programs and prepare various cost and forecasting reports. -Verify project cost and schedule milestones were/were not attained and provide input to identify future process or business improvements and work with responsible parties to implement. -Maintain scope change, contingency release, change order, and journal entry logs. -Maintain written and electronic project documentation and records tracking for required aspects of the project. -Provide Project Manager with monthly report of project costs and/or schedule information, including variance analysis according to an agreed upon level of detail and prioritization. -Provide Project Team members with current status report containing schedule and cost information. -Prepare various monthly and weekly project performance reports, budget and cycle forecast reports and finance status reports. -Coordinate and summarize project cycle forecast variance explanations. -Analyze financial results on a monthly basis, providing explanations of significant cost drivers. -Participates in pre/post project design meeting and attends customer/site coordination meetings, as applicable. -Provides support to Project Managers when orders have been received to assist in maintaining and/or improving project margins. Apply now Qualifications: -Proficient in reading and understanding Engineering, Architectural, Structural, and Electrical diagrams, plans and contract schedules/timelines. -Advanced understanding of Electrical systems and their interface. -Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including, Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Adobe, and Primavera P6. -Effective written and oral communications. -Ability to work a full-time schedule. -Demonstrated experience in estimating/pricing, cost control, tracking, and project management. -Experience developing and maintaining budget/expenditures, cost controls, tracking and progress to reflect projected vs. actual and earned hours for project schedule and timeline. -Must be able to pass pre-employment screening. #travelers Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
