JOB SUMMARY
PODS is looking for a Regional Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our existing customers. The Account Managers role is to manage a portfolio of assigned customers in multiple states, develop new sales opportunities from existing clients selling the PODS products and services while working remotely. 25% Travel is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively communicate PODS value proposition to PODS existing customer base
Account Management: Manage portfolio of existing customer relationships to increase utilization and increase revenue by driving net new opportunities.
Ability to manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all existing customers within assigned region.
Drive existing customer retention, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for revenue and account growth of underperforming clients in assigned region.
Nurture relationships with customers to develop contacts to ensure year over year revenue growth of repeat customers.
Collaborate with operations and call center to increase overall market share of existing customer base within assigned region.
Position is primarily in office; occasional travel may be required to visit clients in the field.
Build a strong working knowledge of competitive intelligence and PODS brand recognition.
Provide regular activity reports to the Regional Manager and VP of Sales
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
Completed University or College Degree (Business focus preferred)
5-8 years demonstrated experience with customer success and account management.
A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables.
Ability to effectively communicate with client leaders of all levels (C-level down to entry-level support roles)
Experience in transportation, supply chain or logistics industries preferred
Ability to drive and possess a current/valid driver license issued by the state you work in
Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
Possess Microsoft office skills sufficient to perform required duties
Must be experienced and proficient in Salesforce.
Preferred location: close proximity to a major airport hub.

Compensation:
The expected base compensation range for this role is $75,000 annually with variable compensation/bonus earning potential.
