Job Opportunity: ASIC Design Engineer
- Remote with occasional required travel to the Philadelphia, PA area.

Role and Responsibilities:
As an ASIC Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of creating sophisticated digital designs that push the boundaries of technology. Your role will be multifaceted, involving a range of responsibilities aimed at delivering high-performance and reliable ASIC solutions. You will:
Leverage your advanced degree (MS in Computer Engineering or related field) to conceptualize and implement complex digital designs using HDLs like Verilog and VHDL.
Draw upon your wealth of experience in ASIC design to navigate the intricacies of the design process, from architecture definition to synthesis and verification.
Utilize your mastery of scripting languages such as Python or Perl to enhance design automation and streamline processes.
Employ your expertise in standard cell ASIC development flows to architect and implement designs that meet stringent power, performance, and area (PPA) targets.
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including physical design, verification, and software engineering, to ensure a seamless design-to-delivery process.
Innovate and optimize designs to overcome challenges related to timing closure, power management, and signal integrity.
Embrace the responsibility of ensuring designs meet quality and reliability standards, participating in thorough design reviews and debugging activities.
Qualifications:
Master's degree (MS) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience (10+ years) in ASIC design, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex digital designs.
Proficiency in HDL languages such as Verilog or VHDL, showcasing your ability to architect and implement intricate ASIC designs.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl to automate tasks and enhance design productivity.
In-depth knowledge of the standard cell ASIC development flow, including synthesis, place and route, and timing closure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize designs for performance and reliability.
Exceptional teamwork and communication abilities, enabling you to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
