With several locations across MS, AL, LA, FL, and TX, LMC performs service and repairs, both on-site and in the field, in addition to the sales, leases and rentals of heavy and compact equipment.

Not only have we been the #1 Komatsu Market Share Dealer in North America for the past 7 years, but we have also been Dealer of the Year for many of our other OEMs with whom we've partnered. As we continue to grow, we are looking for self-motivated employees who work well with others and/or independently. As we evolve and the machines evolve, it's necessary, for warranty and related processes, to notify the OEMs of product failures and/or improvement opportunities found in our shops, and work with them to determine the best resolution, in the best interest of our customers. Currently, we have an opening for a Warranty Administrator in our new Richland location, to administer and process warranty claims based on the manufacturers' criteria.

Reports to: Warranty Manager

GENERAL DUTIES:

•Keep up-to-date with company announcements, manufacturer product literature and/or factory recalls to identify improvement opportunities.

•Review/exercise policies and procedures in the respective warranty manual, according to the OEMs' guidelines.

•Verify open claim and process pursuant to the respective OEMs' criteria.

•Collaborate with necessary personnel (i.e., Service Admin, Branch Manager) to obtain required information on warranty work and other warranty related issues, in a timely manner.

•Ensure warranty and other related documents are accurate and well-maintained.

•Ensure labor and parts charges are accurate, and the amounts claimed as "Warranty" correlate to the OEMs' criteria.

•Complete and submit all required documents to various OEMs and monitor status of pending claims.

•Ensure all required supporting documents and/or pictures are attached to work orders prior to closing.

•Analyze denied claims and process appeal, promptly.

•Close warranty work orders once claims have been processed and issued a claim number.

•Review service reports on warranty work orders and edits as needed for claiming.

•Communicate with management and other departments to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction.

•Follow company, federal and shop safety guidelines, and protocols.

•Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.

•Complete any and all necessary paperwork for warranty and shop compliance.

•Produce reports and maintain accurate records of claims and disposition

•Follows instructions thoroughly given by supervisor.

DAILY TASKS:

•Provide warranty support for all branches, in a timely manner.

•Analyze warranty data for trends and root causes.

•Communicate timely and follow up with service teams upon release of parts recalls, and for tracking purposes, upon return of the part.

•Close a minimum of 5 work orders, daily.

•Process Closed PM claims, daily.

•Process parts recalls with the appropriate manufacturer.

•Review outstanding warranty claims and determine status to receive prompt payment.

•Post warranty credits as instructed.

•Makes journal entries as instructed by supervisor.

Requirements

•Must have High School diploma/GED or equivalent.

•Must have at least 2 years of experience in warranty, service, or similar field.

•Efficiency in Basics of Accounting and Microsoft Excel preferred.

•Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
