Senior Learning Solutions Architect

OverviewTo consult with Navy Federal's leaders and business partners to identify critical learning gaps and recommend the best learning solution to support business unit objectives and enterprise-wide initiatives aligned with Navy Federal's University learning model and enterprise strategy. Collaborate enterprise-wide with operational and learning community partners including Talent Development and HR Business Partner teams to understand organizational / department learning needs and support the development of strategy-focused immersive learning plans. Partner with talent development, the enterprise learning community and subject matter experts to curate, validate, and develop content and learning resources, tools, and self-directed content to support enterprise strategy and goals. Measure effectiveness of learning solutions and programs. Serve as learning subject matter expert to provide advanced knowledge of design programs, principles, development standards, techniques, and methodologies and apply each, ensuring a positive learner/customer experience and alignment with Navy Federal's overall strategy and culture.ResponsibilitiesConsult and collaborate with business leaders to identify learning needs, gaps and updates or enhancements to existing plans. Conduct needs analysis on strategic requests and recommend the best learning solutions to support business objectives in alignment with Navy Federal's strategyServe as a lead consultant and resource on professional and talent development learning to either directly or indirectly support and align with enterprise strategy and needsContribute to the development of learning strategies, tactics and solutions and design/develop/facilitate learning solutions and content for professional development, employee upskilling, etc., using a proven development life cycle to support company-wide and business unit objectives, while considering stakeholder needs and industry standardsDesign and use quantitative and qualitative methods and metrics to measure, evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of training programs and/or immersive learning plans to ensure objectives are achievedOversee the development of reference materials, support tools and leader resources that reinforce strategic learningLead, guide, and mentor team members and partner with the business to achieve desired outcomes, and in support of leaders in setting performance standards and identifying potential skill gaps related to expectationsServe as a lead liaison between the Learning Solutions team and Talent Development team (when appropriate) providing swift and thorough transitions for customers and business partnersRemain current with industry learning best practices and technical, product and program enhancementsParticipate in or manage multiple large-scale and/or cross-divisional/departmental projects and programsPartner with L&TD's Vendor Partnership team to identify opportunities to source shared vendor relationships, platforms or contentConduct needs analysis on strategic requests; identify learning gaps and recommend the best learning solutions to support business objectives in alignment with Navy Federal's strategyPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsExpertise in one or more of the following: program management and evaluation, learning science, communications, instructional design, organizational development and/or extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing training.Willingness to learn, use a growth mindset and combine theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on application.Expertise in conducting needs assessment and analysis for large scale learning solutions.Advanced knowledge of measuring ROI on learning solutionsExtensive experience in classroom instruction and/or facilitation for individuals or groupsExtensive experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projectsExpert knowledge of instructional theories, educational psychology, educational theory, tools and resourcesDemonstrated ability to think strategically, adapt quickly and exhibit effective communication skills to all levels of leadership.Demonstrated advanced organizational, planning, and project management skills and knowledge.Demonstrated skill in effectively building relationships with and influencing team members, management, vendors, and a diverse group of stakeholders.Demonstrated skill in compiling, organizing and presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely to stakeholders and management.Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExpert skill communicating with all levels within an organizationExpert skill in building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with partner leadershipAdvanced skill interacting tactfully and effectively in difficult situationsExpert skill to successfully influence, lead and/or guide others towards goalsAdvanced verbal and written communication skills to include speaking and/or presenting in front of groups in a professional settingBachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Human Resources, business, communication, behavioral sciences, Program Management or related field or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience.Desired QualificationsSignificant experience in multi-media trainingAdvanced knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies and proceduresAdvanced knowledge of Navy Federal's functions, philosophy, operations and organizational objectivesAdvanced knowledge of banking/financial industry standards and practicesAdvanced knowledge of Navy Federal's Strategic goals & initiativesProfessional certifications including project management (e.g. PMP), agile, evaluation, instructional design, change management, talent development, and / or learning professionalMaster's Degree in, Education, Instructional Technology, , Human Resources, business, communication, behavioral sciences, or related field or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceHours:Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PMLocation:820 Follin Ln.
