Together, we are EXP.Are you ready to design your future?Be our next Structural Engineer/EIT Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a part of the bridge designteam, based in the Miami, FL office and have the opportunity to work on the bridge/transportation. What a day at EXP has in store for you Assist in the structural analysis and preparation of design calculations Develop or assist in developing structural details and construction plans Assist with design of steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures Effectively coordinate with other disciplines in project development Conduct inspections and assist in supervision of site investigations Participate in construction site meetings Conduct site visits during construction to review work for general compliance to structural drawings and contract documents Progress toward professional licensure

What your experience looks like Degree in Structural Engineering from a recognized university, MS degree is not required but considered as an asset Preferably 1 to 3 years’ experience in structural engineering with a focus on concrete and steel design for transportation structures (bridges, retaining walls, miscellaneous structures) Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation software preferred Proficiency with Excel and/or Mathcad is preferred Commitment and dedication to client service as well as technical excellence Demonstrated and effective communication skills and the ability to handle changing needs while working effectively with diverse groups Strategic thinker with the ability to determine what work is required and draw rational conclusions from all available information Valid driver’s license is an asset ABOUT US
