Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various daily weekly and monthly tasks and be very deadline driven. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of full cycle accounting and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership. The company has an awesome culture and very progressive philosophy. Only local candidates in NJ, PA and DE will be considered for this opportunity.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Support Controller, CFO and Mgr of FPA with accurate and timely month end close and other critical reports.
- Assist accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payments.
- Experience with processing sales force monthly commissions.
- Supply chain and inventory accounting experience preferred.
- Have manufacturing and/or distribution experience is mandatory.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
- Minimum of 3+ year of manufacturing accounting experience.
- Experience with NetSuite or SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
- Solid analytical problem skills

- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
