Manager, MarComm (Programs & Products)

Develops, implements, and manages marketing and communication activities that align with the organization’s strategic plan. The primary focus of this role is the marketing and communications of HRS programs and products. The position plays a critical role in the organization’s ability to increase HRS program and product awareness, engagement, conversions, and revenue, relating to education (in-person meetings, virtual/online meetings, on-demand education via HRS365, and print and digital journals) and other potential initiatives identified by the Board of Trustees and member-led committees.

The incumbent is responsible for managing marketing and communication activities across owned, shared, earned, and paid media, including digital, offline (live/in-person events) and print. Develops content and asset (GIFs, video, graphics, images, copy, etc.) for social media, email, and web pages, while also working with creative freelancers for heavier creative assignments such as direct mail packages, print ads, print collateral, signage, booth designs, branding, and logo development, etc.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, communications, journalism, or similar field (preferred).

Experience Required Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in a marketing/communications role and digital marketing

Two (2) to four (4) of experience in program/product/membership marketing and communications

Three (3) to four (4) years of experience in project management

Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

Association/society or healthcare experience Technical Skills

Preferred : MS Office

iOS Mac

Graphic Design: Canva (or a similar tool)

Email marketing: Informz by Higher Logic (exploring other ESP and MA platforms)

Social: Sprout Social, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube

CMS: Drupal, WordPress

Reporting: Google Analytics 4, Hotjar

CRM: Salesforce Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : CAE preferred

GA certification Other Requirements : none
