**Job Summary:**

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for processing group reservations, as well as answering group and individual sales phone lines and emails. The coordinator will also act as the on-site representative for the Sales Department. The role is non-exempt with the ability to earn commission. The position is based in Los Angeles. Hybrid work schedule available, coming into the office as needed, at least once a week. Schedule may change to match business needs.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Willingness to accept the most effective role;

* Process all group reservation requests, modifications, payments and cancellations received by phone, email, social media, and all other sources;

* Prepare sales contracts, correspondence, reports, forms, direct mail pieces, etc. as requested by the Manager;

* Develop and maintain contact databases;

* Provide interested groups with appropriate sales information, reservation forms, contracts, processed itineraries, and confirmations;

* Fulfill sales quota and maximize revenue opportunities through up-sells and cross sales;

* Resolved problems by clarifying any issues; researches and explores answers and alternate solutions and implements discovered solutions; escalates any unresolved problems;

* May provide support for Guest Services on day-of arrival and troubleshoot any reservation discrepancies;

* Identify and sell to new revenue streams as assigned;

* Support general sales activities including events, promotions, visits to ensure excellent service and sales;

* Set up billing accounts;

* Additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications:**

* Position is based in Los Angeles;

* Minimum two years of experience in guest service/hospitality or marketing/sales required;

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint is required, familiarity with Google docs is preferred;

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a requirement;

* **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent required;

* Experience working in a start-up environment and working in sales launching a new product or customer experience is preferred;

* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

* Requires regular and predictable attendance;

**Physical Requirements:**

* Frequently required to stand, walk, sit;

* Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity;

* Continually required to talk and hear;

* Occasionally required to work in environment that is loud or very loud;

* Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
