Role:

The Accountant Virtual Assistant will maintain accurate financial records, reconcile banking ledgers, and support the financial operations of the Rental Department, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile ledgers, invoices, receipts, and other accounting records. Correct tenant ledgers and manage general ledger entries. Assist with daily, monthly, and annual financial activities, including invoicing and banking reconciliation. Support the annual budget development and tax return processing. Conduct financial audits and resolve discrepancies. Partner with vendors to ensure accurate charges and timely payments. Collect rent payments and deposits, and manage accounts for owners and tenants. Communicate with clients and tenants regarding account status and discrepancies. Stay informed about financial legislation and Fair Housing regulations. Requirements: Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software. Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations. Familiarity with budget development and financial audits. YOU MUST have experiencei in the Property Management industry with APPFOLIO Experience.
