Job Title: Production Operator (Forklift)

Role & Responsibilities:

* Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a plant warehouse setting. * Use of forklift in the timely loading or unloading of finished product and raw materials to/from trucks/railcars, and from the production line. * Interpret customer orders so as to pull, stage, load, and check materials in a manner that ensures accurate and timely shipment. * Recording of shipping data and other results in the manner required. * Troubleshoot and apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment. * Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision. * Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Able to safely operate a forklift in a manufacturing setting. * Ability to inspect and troubleshoot the forklift to detect issues and maximize operational availability. * Ability to interpret verbal instructions and written documents such as customer orders. * Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting. * Proficiency at accurately recording shipping data. * Possess basic maintenance skills needed to help service equipment. * Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers. * Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Pay Range: $20.80/hr

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
