Mastery of the use of Cerner pharmacy and hospital information system application is required. As well as proficiency with all technology associated with the medication management process to include but not limited to Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Automated TPN compounder, and Automated dispensing equipment such as packaging machines/carousels. Understanding and compliance with intravenous compounding policies and procedures is required. Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, staffing, safety metrics and financial metrics. Education to healthcare professionals and patients is a requirement.
