Storage Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

Administer, build, troubleshoot, and maintain data backup and storage environmentPerform moderate to complex technical and administrative tasksSupport underlying technologies related to the backup strategy including: data backup software, network storage, and virtual machine replication softwareInstall/remove server backup agentsMonitor and troubleshooting daily backupsForecast the growth of the data backup solutions and make recommendations for additions/changes to the solutionParticipate in a 7x24 on-call support rotationS

torage Systems Engineer Requirements:

10+ years of enterprise storage administration/engineeringExtensive experience with Hitachi, NetApp, and/or EMCStrong knowledge and experience with block based storage services and arraysStrong knowledge of storage fabric services and systemsHands on experience with Cisco network productsExperience with Cisco UCS blade centersUnderstanding of design and deployment of cloud technologiesStrong communication skills
