Entech Staffing is searching for a passionate and dedicated Youth and Family Counselor to join our client's team in Royal Oak, MI. In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting homeless youth and their families through our Runaway Homeless Youth (RHY) programs. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

About the Role:

  • Provide individual, family, group, and conjoint counseling to youth ages 10-24.
  • Develop individualized plans of service and participate in treatment planning.
  • Offer intensive case management and 24-hour intervention to clients in the Sanctuary program.
  • Maintain client records, complete paperwork, and make referrals as needed.
  • Collaborate with other staff, agencies, and community partners.
  • Uphold agency values and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for clients and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Licensed in the State of Michigan (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, LLP).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience counseling teens, young adults, and families.
  • Trauma-informed principles and experience working with diverse populations.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Lived or professional experience working with homelessness.
  • Experience in youth counseling and the social services landscape in Oakland County.
  • Training in HMIS, Harm Reduction, Trauma Informed Care, Housing First, and SPDAT.
  • Experience working with diverse clients and teams.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and unwavering integrity.
