The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing electrical layout drawings for lighting, containment, fire alarm, general services, security, life safety and mechanical power. They will also develop contract drawings associated with Electrical Distribution Systems. Produce Power Calculations using various software’s and spreadsheets. Lead Site Investigations with Utility Companies and Contractors for Power delivery. Producing Photometric Lighting Calculations. Create and maintain electrical specifications and standards for projects. Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure effective and efficient package & project delivery. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team and clients. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all designs and developments. Manage and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Your Day-to-Day Impact: Leading management of facility projects with cost, technical, and schedule authority. Generating, identifying, and analyzing technical requirements and ability to translate to design. Exercising technical authority for the design, planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of Infrastructure & Capabilities projects to include major facility modifications and construction projects. Developing and reviewing engineering data packages; requirement documents, drawings, specifications, testing & acceptance criteria/procedures and cost estimates. Planning and formulating engineering program reviews, product design for compliance with engineering principles and standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluating and approving proposal inquiries, design changes, specification documents and drawing releases. Coordinating and participating in activities concerned with technical development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Collaborating closely with internal and external customers and partners on the planning of activities to ensure production needs are addressed with minimum schedule impacts. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience designing full low and medium voltage electrical systems, including power, lighting, fire alarm and signaling systems. At least 7 years of experience designing lighting systems including associated control systems. Experience preparing load analysis for each stage of design. Proven experience preparing short circuit, coordination and Arc Flash Analysis. Knowledge on preparing Photometric Calculations and detailed project electrical systems drawings. Over 7 years of experience selecting and preparing specifications for electrical equipment. A background in coordinating work with engineers of other disciplines and with project architects. Have years of on-site field observation, assessment, and construction administration experience during project(s) lifecycle from planning through construction closeout. Expertise with NEC, NFPA 72, NFPA101 and Building Codes. Expertise with the following software: REVIT 3D Electrical System Modeling, Open Roads Open Building Modeling, SKM Power Tools Modeling, Agi32 Modeling, AUTOCAD, and MicroStation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
