Type: Contract to hire

Compensation: $50 - $69.70 per hour, with a salary range of $102,708 - $145,530 upon conversion

Overview:
The successful candidate will engage in a variety of responsibilities including requirements definition, conceptual design, development and prototyping, subsystem and system testing, flight testing, troubleshooting, data analysis, and supporting design reviews along with other technical meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and analyze requirements for electrical systems.
- Conduct conceptual designs and develop prototypes.
- Perform subsystem and system testing, including flight tests.
- Troubleshoot issues and analyze data to support engineering decisions.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Experience with aircraft, unmanned systems, or munitions is essential.
- Proven ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Familiarity with electrical system architecture and cable/harness drawings.
- Experience in selecting electrical and avionics components.
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, and flying systems is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MATLAB, along with relevant design software.
- Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Skills:
- A Master's Degree is advantageous.
- Experience with RF/datalinks, motors, motor controllers, servos, and autopilots, particularly with NVidia processors.
- Knowledge of embedded software is a plus.
