As the Director of Plant Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Supervises day to day operation of all ancillary departments
- Monitor, write and approve purchase orders for all department requests or needs. Consistently monitor all products and costs to ensure best quality and pricing
- Monitor facility for safety, security, cleanliness, supply issues and compliance.
- Act as Safety Committee Director and Chair Person. Conduct monthly meetings. Participate in other facility committees as needed.
- Act as a facility representative with all new residents and families.
- Work closely with the executive director to monitor departmental budgets and operate within or below mandated budget.
- Train and in-service all departmental staff with supervisors to develop associates to their fullest potential, monitor and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Constantly improve the facility with renovations, capital improvements and construction projects. Strive for total quality management.
- Locate, engage and evaluate all sub-contractors and service providers to ensure professionalism, cost and service
- Provide the services, products and equipment for all other facility departments and evaluating all facets of said items. Ensure that most are provided by in house personnel
- Monitors or manages FSCSC construction and renovation projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned
In order too qualify you need a:
- High School Diploma Required, Some college or Trade School education in applicable areas preferred
- 3 to 5 years supervisory experience
- Computer literacy.
- Code compliance exposure in the health care field preferred
- CFC Certification
- Licensed Stationary Engineer, Operating Engineer or License in related trade preferred
