Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Store Sales Associate, you will be responsible for retail sales out of our physical storefront location. You will also manage our social media accounts, answer inbound phone calls, track/manage new leads in our CRM and in ad hoc reports, coordinate with our marine construction project team on larger jobs, and perform other administrative duties, as necessary.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Management: Build/maintain strong relationships with existing and actively engaging new potential customers to understand their needs and requirements

Sales Strategy: Implement effective retail and online sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and meet business objectives.

Promotion Opportunities: Promote service and maintenance contracts, and accessories to existing clients nearing the end of larger projects by collaborating with field project managers on meeting client needs.

Social Media & Marketing: Manage social media platforms, produce and post regular content promoting our products, services, and industry educational information

Events: Represent and maximize sales and networking opportunities at local and community events (will require some weekends)

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to make informed business decisions and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Inventory Management: Track and maintain appropriate stock levels

Vendor Relations: Maintain proactive, strong relationships with suppliers and other vendors and source new as needed to meet business development needs

Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, activity reports, and client databases ongoing and ad hoc

Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from clients to continuously improve our services and maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Proven track record in retail sales
•Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively present and close solutions and alternatives.
•Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, and providing outstanding customer service and follow-through
•Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to change.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office professional suite of products and content creation and editing hardware/software.
•Ability to pass a drug test and comply with a drug-free workplace policy
•Ability to pass a background check

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Associate's degree or higher in Sales, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
•In-depth knowledge of marine construction products, services, and project requirements.

Strongly preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish).
