Responsibilities:

  • Assures all schools submit referrals accurately and that monthly reports are submitted
  • Ensures supplies are readily available, clean, and organized in an efficient manner and inventories supplies
  • Coordinate sports physicals working with doctors, coaches, AD's to setup date, supplies, and staffing for mass physicals
  • Schedule event coverage, receive requests for medical coverage, work with staff schedule to provide adequate care, provide needed supplies for staff to cover event, clean up supplies, propery record work and submit event pay paperwork
  • Approve payroll, enter PTO entry, hours approved for hourly workers, coordinate FLMA if needed
  • Make sure AT staff is current on all required CHS mandatory education and training via CHS ALC's
  • Hiring of staff, work with HR for recruiting of staff, submit proper intake forms, ensure new staff received orientation and necessary training
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Athletic Training program.
  • Current license (or eligible) as an Athletic Trainer in State of Alabama required.
  • Current National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
  • Current BCLS required (AHA or ECSI)
