Position Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and underwriting for potential acquisition opportunities by utilizing Excel and Argus Enterprise. Pipeline Management: Track potential acquisition opportunities by ensuring that BKM’s proprietary software called BKMIntel is updated with deals currently being evaluated. Prepare for the weekly pipeline meetings and present opportunities to the acquisition team. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Serve as a resource for other BKM departments. Help answer questions relating to prior acquisitions and assets in the disposition pipeline. BKMIntel: Ensure BKMIntel is updated with the latest sale comps and perform a quarterly competitive set update. Work alongside the acquisition team to finalize the format/design for BKMIntel. Network and collect information from the market including sourcing from national and local brokers on a weekly basis. The Qualifiers: 3+ years of heavy Argus and Excel experience required. 3+ years’ experience in an analytical role in commercial real estate, preferably industrial (residential excluded). Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, or other business discipline. Experience with real estate analysis tools including CoStar. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to travel (5-10%) within the western region. Direct exposure to a fast-growing, successful entrepreneurial culture.
