**About the property**

Our newest EverSpring Inn & Suites is in Marshall, Minnesota. The property offers guests an experience of comfort and convenience alongside unexpected amenities for travelers of all varieties. The EverSpring is conveniently located right as the crossroads of both Highways 23 & 19 and right across the street from SMSU here in Marshall. We are located just a few minutes from the downtown area as well as plenty of dining and shopping options here in town. Our 100-room hotel has accessible rooms, poolside suites, fitness area, business center, hot breakfast and of course an attached restaurant.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

* Drive financial performance of the entire business. Prepare annual hotel budget and operations plan.

* Lead and inspire team to deliver a world-class guest experience.

* Develop systems, processes, and procedures to ensure operational excellence in all areas and departments.

* Increase sales and revenue by promoting and marketing the business. Prepare annual sales and marketing plan.

* Hire, develop, train, and empower all team members. Delegate responsibilities and projects.

* Oversee and lead a positive, people-first, and results-driven company culture.

* Manages labor and controllable expenses across all departments.

* Oversee revenue management and strategy on a daily basis.

* Maintain the property in like new condition. Establishes and maintains applicable preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the hotel. Supervise maintenance, supplies and furnishings.

* Monitors the performance of the hotel through verification and analysis of guest satisfaction systems and monthly financial reports. Initiates corrective action. Address problems, including internal conflicts and guest complaints as they arise.

* Establishes and maintains a proactive human resource function to ensure employee motivation, training and development, and wage/benefit.

* Produce daily, weekly and month-end reports; forecasting & marketing strategies.

* Ensure compliance with franchise requirements, licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

* Maintains a security function which protects both the assets of the hotel and the personal safety of employees and guests.

* Development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.

* Coordinates with various departments the activities related to group and book business, negotiate rate and service plans to meet budgeted revenue goals.

* Maintains good rapport with local civic groups and companies

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

**Experience, Skills, and Education**

* 5 years minimum experience as a General Manager

* Strong experience in both hotel and food & beverage operations

* Proven leadership experience and ability to train, develop, and motivate teams

* Strong financial knowledge and ability to manage a P&L statement

* Selfless, team-oriented, and always eager to improve

* Proven ability to drive sales

* Working knowledge of IT and computer systems

* Good understanding of revenue generation and yield management

* Able to motivate and train team to provide a world-class guest experience
