Responsibilities include coordination of various audiology activities, the performance of any and all clinical audiology procedures necessary to completely evaluate and rehabilitate the auditory functions of patients for the University Health System, participation in educational programs and assistance in supervision of assigned staff EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEDoctor of Audiology is required. Three years of clinical experience as a licensed audiologist is required. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association is preferred. Must be a participating Medicaid and Medicare provider or be eligible to obtain a Medicaid and Medicare provider number.LICENSUREMust have and maintain current licensure by Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Registration to use audiometric equipment through the Texas Department of State Health Service is required.
