We are seeking a full-time, Patient Services Specialist to join our busy Surgical Specialists South clinic located in Tualatin. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate has at least one (1) year of prior medical front office experience, has great communication skills, and has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Primary duties include welcoming and greeting patients, collecting co-pays, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, scheduling new and existing patient appointments, scanning, updating records, and other duties as assigned. Workdays will be Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour.Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour.Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour.Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.Qualifications:Minimum of 1+ years of medical front office experience preferred.Excellent phone skills and customer service skills.Excellent attendance and work ethic.Excellent prior work references.Prior Epic experience is strongly preferred.Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers.Knowledge of basic information technology, computer applications and ability to use office equipment.Additional Benefits:Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + 8 paid holidaysGenerous 401(k) retirement planFlexible Spending Account Robust Wellness ProgramsPet Insurance70% of Tri-Met pass coveredLots of discounts to local stores and activitiesThis description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job requirements.
