Key Responsibilities: Operates production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goals as planned and driven by management Utilizes Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functions Completes change overs for assigned equipment and/or production line Learns and maintains customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality Reads and follows instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications Accurately completes all quality, traceability, and production paperwork Reports any product deficiencies, food or safety concerns to supervisor Performs minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimally Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation, assists with product change overs, and ensures all tools are accounted for, reports any injury, accident and/or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately Must be flexible and assist in other areas/workstations to accommodate changes to the production schedule due to business demands Must be willing to learn to operate several different types of packing equipment Follows all safety procedures and actively participates in safety training and safety system ownership initiatives Supports and complies with GMP’s; understands and follows emergency action plan Supports foods safety, quality and legality Ensures the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Required Skills: High school diploma or GED 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred Technical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directions Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership Benefits include health insurance, 401k, LTD, paid vacation and holidays Reily Foods Company is an equal opportunity employer, Minorities/Females/Disability/Protected Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
