Seasonal Makery Associate for Denton

Buff City Soap is building a fun and motivated team We are looking for Makery Associates to work in an energetic and creative environment. We are seeking to fill both full and part-time positions with day, evening, and weekend availability for the holiday season. We’re on a mission to create handmade products that are free of harsh ingredients and full of nourishing plant-based goodies to make your skin happy. We handcraft each bar of soap in what we call our Soap Makery daily. This in-house base operation ensures that we know what exactly goes into every product we offer. Our products are free of artificial detergents, surfactants, dyes, and other harsh chemicals. We are looking for individuals to join our Soap Makery where they will be responsible for inspiring, creating, and individualizing each hand-crafted product we offer. Responsibilities: Basic computer skills and knowledge. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all your guests’ needs are met and treated professionally. Engage with all guests by building good relationships and understanding their needs. Make relevant recommendations for products. Multi-task by juggling product production as guests enter and leave. Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the Makery including production and retail areas. Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast-paced fun environment while upholding all company policies and procedures. Production and fulfillment of all products including: making bath bombs, shower steamers, body scrubs, serums, etc. Label, shrink wrap products and sample kits. Maintain all products per inventory levels. Ensure all final products meet quality standards. Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness requirements. Stock and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Qualifications/Requirements: High school or equivalent (Preferred). Retail sales or customer service: 1 year (Preferred). Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances. Dexterity of hands and fingers. Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 50lbs. Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist and stoop, kneel or crouch. Ability to perform cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc. Job Types: Seasonal Pay: $12/hr per hour - For every hour worked through the holiday season, you will make an extra dollar per hour and that bonus will be paid at the end of the season.
