**Description**

We are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager-LCB in our Atlanta area Customs Brokerage office. This position is a key role with various tasks, responsible for the effective supervision and delegation of work. As an Assistant Manager, must have expertise of import, transportation, logistics, and customs brokerage. A passion to support clients and ability to motivate colleagues thus ensuring the timely completion of all branch work and effective customer service. This role requires a current Customs Brokerage License or extensive experience working as a customs brokerage professional.

As Assistant Branch Manager, you will help develop and motivate a team environment, providing support to direct reports to optimize employee performance and professional growth. Fostering our culture of determination, innovation, and value.

This role:

* Actively pursues new sales leads for our various services while maintaining current clients.

* Provides guidance and supervision for the daily operation of the employees.

* Monitors work flow and accurate completion of daily operations such as customer correspondence, handling claims, processing post entry work, maintaining logs, handling collections and resolving customer problems. Completes projects as assigned.

* Manages the responsibilities of office employees, reviews progress, answers questions and resolves technical problems.

* Advances effective strategies to makes adjustments in personnel and assignments to meet deadlines. This includes monitoring and visiting employees on all shifts.

* Conducts regular audit reviews to ensure that procedures and paper flow is being followed. Sending information timely to manager or other designated persons.

* Stays current on industry changes and company policy and procedure changes. Keeps employees up-to-date on all of these changes.

* Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

* Minimum five years of experience in the industry or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of supervisory experience required.

* U.S. Customs Brokerage license (LCB) is required for this role. Willingness to sign a non-compete/non-disclosure agreement.
