Learning & Development (L&D) Leader

The Learning & Development (L&D) Leader is a Professional who will be a member of the HR team. They will build and operationalize PFM's learning and development culture. In addition to overseeing L&D activities, they will be the point person for performance management and career track responsibilities. They will actively help to coach and support employees and managers for positive outcomes.

This role will also contribute to HR reporting, employee relations, talent management, communications, and special projects.

Core Duties:

  • Learning and Development- Leads the development and implementation of firm-wide L&D programs, oversees any operational and budgeting details included. Assesses employee and management development needs, coordinates with external L&D vendors, and analyzes/discusses trends and concerns with senior management
  • Performance Management- Provides oversight and administration of the bi-yearly employee performance review process at PFM
  • Provides training and logistical support for any training events, including yearly Analyst training, working closely with other PFM employees who have L&D responsibilities
  • Career track- Provides oversight and administration of the promotion process, in coordination with the PFM HR Committee. Brings external business knowledge and innovative ideas into PFM's Talent Management space and ensures all documentation and training in this area are relevant and updated.
  • Retention analysis and solutions- Works with the HR team, to review retention data and identify solutions
  • HR System- Actively utilize the Workday system, including the implementation and continued management of the Learning module in Workday.
  • HR Project Assistance- Support the implementation of HR / strategic business programs as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have a 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of post-graduate experience in human resources or corporate learning and development is strongly desired.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building abilities with external partners, leadership, staff, and HR colleagues.
  • Skilled in project management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to convey compelling messages both in person and in writing to a broad and diverse variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively anticipate needs, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm, creative thinking, positive attitude and teamwork focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, intermediate-or-advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Workday HRIS preferred.
