TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Sr. Director of Operations to join our team in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area. Job Summary: Participates in establishing objectives, plans and budgets at a program or project level. Oversees the technical, operational and budgetary objectives for the program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Plans and coordinates projects to include proposals, estimating, tracking costs, scheduling, customer interface, bill of materials, ordering of parts, materials and equipment, etc. Supports in planning and coordinating department level budgets, financial forecasts and monitoring performance. Manages performance of contractors, engineers, and/or technicians. Coordinates technical and administrative support activities. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages 5-50 employees, some of which may be through subordinate supervisors. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of related experience within the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and/or Tolling Industry and 18+ years of related experience. Education: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Engineering Degree (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Software) and licensing are preferred, however, not mandatory.
