The Associate Director of Group Sales is an experienced senior level hotel sales role that reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities include:

•Managing and leading the sales staff as well as managing select key accounts

•Recruitment and hiring of sales staff

•Mentoring and training sales staff

•Developing business leads, solicit potential accounts, service existing accounts in partnership with sales staff

•Maintaining knowledge of market and competitors

•Developing with Director of Revenue, group and catering deployment strategies through competitive data, demand analysis and mix management

•Leading sales meetings and collaborating with convention services

•Involvement with the annual business plan process and annual marketing plan

•Forecasting group and transient revenue

•Report analysis, P&L management including annual and monthly forecasting, group pace report, star report and sales reports

•Managing the annual RFP process

•Fostering relationships with the Hyatt Sales Force

•Business travel and tradeshows

•Customer entertainment, community involvement and networking

This position may be required to serve as Director in the absence of the Director of Sales.
