Tunnicliffe Hunt are representing a global business serving the medical, analytical, telecom and industrial markets with mission critical temperature control components and systems. They operate production sites in China and Czech Republic and a smaller production and distribution operation in the USA. Product development sites are located in Sweden, China and USA.

SummaryAs Project Manager you will be responsible for managing a cross-functional team of professionals to complete product development and product improvement projects for Liquid cooling systems.

Our client is focused on growth and ambitious performance targets, both for quality and efficiency. The site in Durham, NC includes a team of Engineers, Technologists, Salespeople, and Operations Staff to support Sales and Global Product Development.

ResponsibilitiesDefine, plan and manage project milestone activities within a stage-gate product development systemProvide feedback to Management on feasibility, cost, and schedule for proposed projectsManage and direct project teams consisting of multiple engineering disciplinesManage and coordinate activities between departments to meet product development or project requirementsManage cost targets as set by Senior Management staffSimultaneously set priorities/direction for assigned projects or programsAct as the technical customer interface and leader of projects requested by the customerGenerate/facilitate documentation per engineering procedures and requirementsAdheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards

RequirementsExcellent time management skills.Exhibit understanding of the cross-functional relationships between inter-company groupsand the expertise required to take a product through development and on to production.Good communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail.Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Project or similar project scheduling tools.

Experience and EducationBachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical field. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.PMI Certification a plusExperience/knowledge in manufacturing processes within refrigeration/cooling systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
