ABOUT THE ROLESMW Manufacturing is now the newest business unit of the Amsted Automotive Group, a premier technology organization specializing in complex metalworking and high-tech machining equipment and processes.Amsted Automotive is a growing company that embraces the employee experience through driving a positive culture, respecting, and implementing your ideas and providing opportunities for career growth.As an employee-owned company, you will share in the overall financial success of the business.If this is attractive to you, we are looking to add a Tool Crib Attendant to our Belleville, MI teamWHAT YOU'LL DOLead and organize day-to-day operation of tool services.Ensure that adequate stock of the necessary supplies is available.Conduct work area and stock inspections.Handle all EECR traffic by assuring the opening of EECR traffic moves forward through the sign-off procedure, making sure overdue EECR's are investigated and closed in a timely matter, review EECR's that have been closed to answer tool room queries, communicate with vendors regarding new and updated prints.Maintain the EECR maintenance by assuring that the form is updated regularly with requested add-ons and understand the process flow of EECR system and make improvements as necessary.Drawing prints for Process Engineers by using CAD models and drafts with detailed precision maintaining and following SMW and customer practices.Transition engineering management requested revisions to corporate documentation of integrated tools and parts, as well as follow SMW standard procedures for labeling and drawing of new equipment.Issue and receive all tools incoming and outgoing from the tool crib.Cycle count every job at least three (3) jobs before their scheduled run and or completion.Update inventory daily in E2.Handling shipping / receiving needs with Fed Ex and UPS for tool room.Shipping / receiving to and from supplier / vendors (heat treating / coating)Work with Engineering through tool revisions.Shall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices, such as utilizing personal protective equipment and proper attire in keeping with safety standards.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEEDHigh School Diploma or GED with experience or vocational/technical certification required.The ability to travel from plant to plant if requestedProven ability to work well in a team environment.Excellent problem-solving skills.Excellent work record history.Basic computer skills, including P.C knowledge and current technology software familiarity.Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication.Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to follow verbal and written instructions well.Quality, safety and environmental focused.Able to work any shift assigned.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUEmployee Stock Ownership PlanIncentive BonusMedical, Vision, DentalPrescription Drug Plan401KPaid Vacation & HolidaysShort-Term DisabilityTuition ReimbursementHealth and Wellness ReimbursementEmployee RecognitionDiscount Programs
