If you have strong math skills, great communication abilities, and enjoy working with raw materials, this could be the perfect job for youWhy You'll Love Working With Us:Hands-On Work: Take on important tasks like mixing, dispensing, and handling raw materials.Team Atmosphere: Be part of a supportive and safety-conscious team in a growing company.Growth Potential: Opportunities for career advancement as you build your skills in the manufacturing field.Key Responsibilities:Raw Material Handling: Lift, walk, and dispense pre-weighed raw materials (5-45 lbs) into blend and pre-mix tanks.Bag Handling: Lift and dispense 50-55 lb bags of powdered raw materials into blend tanks. You'll be handling 1 to 5 bags per batch.Drum Movement: Safely move 55-gallon drums weighing between 100-700 lbs using a drum dolly.Safety First: Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling dangerous chemicals.What We're Looking For:Education:High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required)Skills & Qualifications:Strong Math Skills: Ability to accurately calculate quantities and measurements.Hands-On Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with your team.Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure accurate handling and mixing of materials.Physical Requirements:Heavy Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and move drums up to 700 lbs using proper tools and techniques.Active Work: Must be comfortable with physical tasks that require walking, lifting, and handling raw materials.Safety Compliance: Willing to wear protective equipment such as respirators and chemical-resistant clothing when required.About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
