The role focuses on both residential and commercial projects, ranging from $100,000 to $20 million in value. The successful candidate will be involved in various stages of construction projects, including: Supporting sales and business development efforts Contributing to project estimation and bidding processes Creating and managing individual project schedules Coordinating overall project timelines to optimize resource allocation Assigning staff for in-house trade work on a weekly basis Overseeing project finances and profitability forecasts Maintaining positive client relationships and meeting owner expectations throughout project lifecycles The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate for this role should excel in problem-solving, communication, organization, and relationship-building. Expertise in estimating, scheduling, and cost management is crucial. The position requires at least 5 years of experience in construction project management, field engineering, or estimating. A degree in Construction Management or Engineering is advantageous, as is experience with high-end residential projects. Familiarity with all construction phases is necessary. Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, on-screen takeoff programs, Microsoft Word, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Planswift, is desirable.
